Republican Hall of Shame 2009

The House Republicans/Obstructionist have bet the farm that following the economic policies of the last 8 years will somehow redeem their party?  More tax cuts, less government spending, and no regulation/oversight of our financial institutions is the answer. You think someone might have asked the question,"how did we get in this mess?"
If Obama's administration starts getting "traction" with the new stimulus plan in the next year or two, this may be the beginning of the Republican party's "deathwatch."
The Republican party seems lost right now.  Reagonomics helped get us into this mess, and most Republicans are in denial to that reality.  The Republican party doesn't seem to understand why so many red states turned blue, and in what few states they did win, how minimal those margins of victory were.
Republican pundits Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have become naysayers for anything the Obama administration attempts to do.   Their anger and frustration has a Jim Crow quality to it.  They keep calling Barack the "Messiah" or the "anointed one" and are forever bringing up Obama's past relationships with the Reverend Wright and former radical Bill Ayer's.  That's funny coming from a convicted narcotics felon and self professed (Hannity) "do as I say, not as I did growing up" hypocrite.  Hannity tries to malign Obama with guilt by association of people from his distant past, yet in Sean's autobiography, his past reflects highly questionable behavior that even Hannity says that he tells kids not to do what he did...?

Jim Crow today: Rush and Sean

Jim Crow:  "Racist characterizations of black people as culturally, personally, and biologically inferior."

New York Post Republican Right Wing Racist Cartoon (February 17, 2009)
Nobel Prise winning Economist Paul Krugman has demonstrated scientifically and without any doubt that TAX CUTS DO NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. He's confused why the Republicans would continue to push discredited policies such as Tax Cuts and De-regulation? Especially after so many AMERICANS, in the last election had voted against these kind of policies?

It's sad to watch Sean and Rush sink so deeply into denial.  Their  hero Ronnie Reagan was dead wrong when it came to Reagonomics which is now crippling our economy.   Will Republicans come to their senses and try to help America? Or, keep pushing for the same discredited Tax Cuts and De-regulations that got us into this mess?

Problem with the Republicans in the Senate is that if Obama's stimulus plan works....they lose.  I guess they can't get past partisan politics, or they could be actually helping our Country?  What a shame!  Nancy Pelosi isn't helping either....

Republican Obstructionist Ringleaders:

John Boehner:  (Boner is pronounce Banner?) Just another Republican doing his job.  No new ideas.  Just more tax cuts for the rich.  Funny thing is where was the trickling down the last 8 years?  Never happened.

Lindsey Graham "The Stimulus Package Stinks, it's really a spending package" says Lindsey Crybaby Graham  Ahh, duh, of course it's a spending package.  Until the government stimulates the economy we will continue to be victimized as a country by the tax cut and deregulate Republicans that got us into this mess.  Worried about the debt Lindsey? You should of thought about that before you decided to finance an illegal war that drove our country into financial ruins.  C'mon, how about a little accountability for your actions before whining on the Senate floor...cause you know what the "stink" is Lindsey.  It's you ,and your buddies trying to gut the middle class.

Newt Gingrich  February 6th, 2009 Newt plays Matt Lauer for a fool on the Today Show promoting his new book that came out  basically DOA.   Newt's book is title: Ronald Reagan - Rendevous With Destiny. It's a yawner. Curiously  Reagonomics and our country's Economic Collapse is Reagan's real rendevous with destiny. But, to hear it from Newt, sounds like someone is re-writing history. What are you afraid of Matt?  Ask some real questions. This interview made you sound like you co-authored the book?  No testical fortitude.  Grow a pair, Lauer.
Richard Shelby, Alabama's Comb over King,  wants the Senate to filibuster the stimulus bill.  If you're better off than you were 8 years ago than Shelby is your man.  If not, then you might want to pay attention to the purely partisan politics of this Senator.  He tried to kill Detroit's automakers so as to benifit the foreign car dealerships and automakers in his state.  Now he's trying to kill the American economy.  Instead of taking responsibility for his party's economic policies the last 8 years that got us into this mess Shelby is trying to blame our current economic woes on the new Congress and new President?

Many people believe that the Republicans, that were aware of the forthcoming collapes of our economy, were trying to stall  the melt down so that it would occur on the watch of the new Congress and new President.  Guess what, it happened on their "watch."

So who is really trying to help out American at this time of crisis? The obstructionist Republicans that got us in this mess, or the new Congress and New President that is offering unique innovative solutions that most every reputable economist in the world agrees with?

Shelby, the Chairman for the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, somehow never saw this economic melt down coming?  How could the Chairman for Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs be so blind?  This is malfeasance or gross incompetence.  Clearly Shelby doesn't have the intellectual capacity to grasp the depth of these problems. Shelby also doesn't have the backbone to take some responsibility for his role in the creation of this mess.  On CNN Shelby said," we have to bring trust back to the banking system." But, doesn't offer any ideas how that could be done.  Maybe being beholden to Banking and Insurance lobbyist isn't the answer?

Thursday February 12, 2009 Karl Rove is coming out with an article in the Wall Street Journal that suggest that the Republicans are on the wrong side of the "Stimulus Plan" that will probably cost them more seats in 2010.  How about that?  Karl Rove announcing the "Deathwatch" for the Republican Party."  And, whose the biggest fool of all?  You guessed it, it's the Comb Over King from Alabama!

On February 9th, 2009 both Hanninty and Limbaugh claimed that popular support for the stimulus bill had dropped to just over 50 percent support for Obama's plan.   But, that same afternoon, a Gallop Poll came out and suggested it was over 70 percent in support of the bill?
