While the economy continues to free fall Republicans are still pushing for tax cuts?  While States, Counties, and local government cut back on essential services such as Police, Fireman, and other Emergency Services severe cuts are being made throughout our Country's schools. How can tax cuts help at this time?

1.Tax cuts cannot provide Police protection
2.Tax cuts cannot provide a Fire Department
3.Tax cuts cannot build a road
4.Tax cuts cannot provide Social Secuity and Medicare
5.Tax cuts cannot provide for the disabled and other vulnerable members of our society
6.Tax cuts cannot create City Parks or preserve areas of our Country's natural beauty
7.Tax cuts cannot build or fund schools or hospitals
...and the list goes on.

      We need to re-frame the word taxes to take away the negative connotations Republicans would have us believe .  Taxes are the dues we need to pay to live in a civilized society, one that does not feed selfish greed but cares for our children's future, for the less fortunate, and for the common good.
      If you're better off today than you were 4 years ago (or even 8 years ago) continue listening to the Oxycotin poster child.  If not, then you might want to re-think this anti-Jesus mouthpiece's rants against the poor.  If being a ditto-head means that you believe, as Mr. Oxycotin has said, "the poor are  losers!" then it might be time to actually read the New Testament.
